RIFLE RANGE

       AFTER  A YEAR OF RESEARCH THE CLUB, WITH THE HELP OF BOTH THE STATE OF WISCONSIN AND THE NRA, HAS COME UP WITH A RANGE DESIGN THAT NOT ONLY MEETS TODAYS DESIGN CONCERNS BUT ALSO EXCEEDS THEM.
IN ORDER TO MEET THE SPECIFICATIONS THE CLUB STARTED THE BUILDING PROCESS FROM SCRATCH. 
     THE NEW RANGE IS NOW COMPLETE.  THE ELECTRONICS ARE UP AND RUNNING.
   THE COMPLEX HAS TWO SEPERATE RANGES.   A 50 YARD RANGE FOR SHOTGUNS AND PISTOLS AND  A 100 YARD RANGE.  BECAUSE THEY ARE EACH ENCLOSED.  BOTH RANGES CAN BE USED AT THE SAME TIME.
     THE CLUB HAS ESTABLISHED NEW RULES FOR USAGE.  EACH MEMBER NEEDS TO SIGN
AN AGREEMENT FOR USAGE BEFORE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO USE THE RANGE.
     THERE ARE ALSO NEW RULES FOR BRINGING A GUEST. 
    THIS HOWEVER IS JUST A BEGINNING.  IN THE WORKS ARE "NO BLUE SKY. "SHOOTING PLATFORMS AS WELL AS OTHER IMPROVEMENTS.  ENJOY THE RANGE.

NEW RANGE RULES:

1.  GUN HANDLING:
A.  ONLY MEMBERS 18 AND OVER MAY SHOOT UNSUPERVISIED.
B.  ONLY MEMBERS IN GOOD STANDING AND WHO HAVE SIGNED THE YEARLY GUN HANDLING RULES MAY SHOOT UNSUPERVISIED
.
C. A MEMBER MAY BRING A NON MEMBER TO USE THE RANGE,  BUT THE MEMBERS IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THE NON MEMBER FOLLOWS RANGE RULES, COLLECTION OF FEES AND THE SIGNING OF THE LOG BOOK.
D  ORGANIZED SHOOTING EVENS REQUIRE A RANGE OFFICER.

2.  GENERAL RANGE RULES APPLY (SEE LATER IN INFORMATION).

3 SPECIFIC TYPES OF FIREARMS IE SHOT SIZE, CALIBER, TARGET TYPES ETC. TO BE DETERMINED.  BUT IN GENERAL FULLY AUTOMATIC FIREARMS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED OTHER THEN FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OR MILITARY TRAINING.

4. TARGET SUPPLIES, FRAMES SECURITY EQUIPMENT BLD. AND GRDS MAINTENENCE TO BE DETERMINED

5.  YOU MUST SIGN IN BEFORE USING THE RANGE.  CURRENTLY THE LOG BOOK IS IN THE CLUB HOUSE

1.  KNOW AND OBE ALL RANGE COMMANDS
2,  KNOW WHERE OTHERS ARE AT ALL TIMES
3.  SHOOT ONLY AT AUTHORIZED TARGETS
4.  GROUND LEVEL TARGETS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED
5.  A RANGE OFFICER OR DESIGNATED PERSON MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL ORGANIZED EVENTS.
6  ALL FIREARMS WILL BE UNLOADED AND BENCHED DURING ALL CEASE FIRE COMMANDS.
7  HANDLING OF ANY FIREARMS WITH IOTHERS ARE DOWN RANGE IS PROHIBITED.
8.  MUZZLES ARE TO BE ALWAYS POINTED AT THE BACK STOP
9.  ALL FIREARMS BROUGHT TO THE RANGE MAY BE INSPECTED AT ANY TIME FOR FUNCTIONALITY.
10.  A SPECAL RANGE EVENT FEE MAY BE CHARGED TO NON MEMBERS FOR USAGE.  THAT FEE IS DATE AND EVENT SPECIFIC.
11 ALL NON MEMBERS MUST SIGN A LOG. THAT WILL DOCUMENT A WAIVER OF LIABILITY, LIST THE CALIBER OF FIRE ARM AND ALLOW A INSPECT OF THE FIREARM.
